Designing a house on acreage requires framing spaces, both internal and external, to define the boarders of the crafted space in the natural landscape. The spacial planning for our Highview project frames sweeping landscapes and also creates intimate focal points with a courtyard gardens and the cabana squaring off the immediate space of the house footprint. The clerestory (highlight) windows provides for cross-ventilation, natural illumination and allows for views the of changing sky scenes.

Creating a floor plan that is elongated and articulated creates visual interest, and add amenity to each room of the home.
